DTG (Direct to Garment)
DTG is when you print directly onto a shirt, it’s our personal favorite way to make a custom tee. Why?
You’re not limited to a certain number of colors in a DTG print.
DTG printing allows you to achieve eye-catching, full-color printing with intricate details and gradients in your graphics. If you need four shades of blue and every other color of the rainbow to capture an image, you can do it without incurring higher costs since you’re working with a digital image and a DTG printer.
You can get amazingly photorealistic images with DTG.
DTG is a great option if you want to reproduce a photo you’ve taken with your iPhone on a t-shirt. You’ll also be able to achieve 10 times the resolution with DTG than you would with screen printing, since DTG printing hits 600 dpi for crispness and clarity.
The ink seeps into the the shirt and it gives that cool vintage feel everyone loves right now.
